DMCE Projects & Services was established in 2002 as a joint venture between Dickinson Group and Morecare Engineering Services (Pty) Ltd, for the mechanical works contract on Hillside Phase 3 Aluminium Expansion Project, including 15400 tons of aluminium and steel busbar fabrication, potshell and superstructure installations on 144 AP30 pots. DMCE completed in 2003 its major aluminium smelter project and in view of the joint venture’s extensive managerial and personnel experience, equipment and resources on turnkey mechanical projects, DMCE Joint Venture was incorporated into a company, trading under the name DMCE Projects & Services (Pty) Ltd. .


DMCE has been founded as a member of The Dickinson Group of Companies on the principles of providing turnkey mechanical & piping erection projects and maintenance services, to fulfill the requirements of the mining, metallurgical and process industries in Southern African and International markets. The Dickinson Group offers integrated turnkey furnace rebuild projects, including furnace demolition, mechanical & piping fabrication & erection and refractory installation.
